Andrew (Andy) loved being outdoors in the countryside; always exploring the surrounding area for acorns, chestnuts, beech mast etc that he could bring home and plant to grow the next generation of trees – of which he had great success.

Andy was part of the North Warwickshire Police Team that undertook a sponsored rowing event in May 2000. The team achieved 1st place - well done to all.

Andy was always a conscientious officer. He was nominated for the Lifetime Achievement Award 2009. In addition he received two invitations to attend Royal Garden Party's at Buckingham Palace.
Andy was nominated to represent Warwickshire Constabulary in 2001 for the CBO of the Year Award which took place in London.
Another national nomination for the 'Diversity in Action' Award 2010; this time as part of the Warwickshire Police Neighbourhood Teams.
