This site is a tribute to Andrew James Hopkins, more commonly known as Andy or PC 649.

Andrew was a loving family man, always putting family first with a forever present dedication to his family which consisted of his loving wife and 3 sons.  This dedication and determination to always help others saw Andrew lead a successful career as a Warwickshire Policeman for 32 years serving his community and surrounding Warwickshire area. Andrew was a loyal and generous man who always took the time to have a chat with whoever, and who always put others first.

Andrew was a very private and personal man but would be the first to make someone smile and laugh, he would always be looking to make a quick witted joke or simply just take note of the room to ensure everyone was having a good time. 

One of Andrew's love and passions sat within nature and conservation devoting his life to looking after all flora and fauna whether that be planting countless trees for others to enjoy, rescuing struggling birds or animals or simply taking the time to enjoy the shade of an English Oak on a hot summers day, Andrew appreciated it all.

We come together now to celebrate the life of Andrew and all of his teachings of wisdom, his lessons of love and nature, and his memories of joy and happiness.

We are forever grateful to have had Andrew in all of our lives and he will be forever missed now and always.
